Orientation Briefing

The briefing takes place in the morning prior to when the competition begins and is mandatory for all team members and judges. Guests are not permitted. Each judge will provide an overview and evaluation criteria for their event, followed by questions and answers.Following the overview, competitors will have the opportunity to walk around the competition floor to get a close-up look at each event and ask further questions. If practical that event’s judge may offer tutorials to ensure all competitors understand the event criteria and requirements.

Competition Details

  1. Teams are to register by sending the names of the four participants to dotane.harel@aircanada.ca.

  2. Registration will be allowed at the competition. Places are limited, priority will be given to teams that have registered in advance. If the numbers of teams exceeds the capacity, selection of the teams will be on the date of registration.

  3. Teams will be given competition bibs with an identification number.

  4. Team members need to wear the proper personal protective equipment comprised of safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, gloves.

  5. Prior to the start, teams will be positioned at the competition stand. A bell will signal the official start of the competition.

  6. The teams will rotate clockwise to advance to the next event.

  7. Results will be posted on boards immediately after the they are submitted by the judges.
